Blonde Ambition

becoming blonde, well yellow was supposed to last just one week while i waited to go 'flaming copper' but it has lasted over a month and i've decided to try for a year at it. Originally i wanted to be like Joan in MAD MEN or Stephanie from the Pupinni sisters already i'm having to keep up with the maintence that stripping your hair of any natual goodness and colour will result in. I use a purple treatment once a week for brassy-ness, a moisturising shampoo and always an intensive conditioner. basically anything i can do to keep it from disintegrating after the four weekly lightening attempts. bloggers are a helpful source of information, when all the sane people around you think that it's not really a good idea to go more than TWO shades lighter than your natural colour. -BURYMEINVELVET- i know i shouldn't do it, and that my hair will take AGES to get back to any decent sort of condition or colour but i just don't care enough about that. and...

Well, I'm not doing too well on the posting consistency (no don't look down at the date of the last post), lets just say i've been busy.  Busy in a not being able to get to a computer and type kind of way, not doing anything amazing. As it's been raining all day (in JUNE) the library seemed like a good port of call. Watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on dvd has become another distraction recently. I watched the musical episode first "Once More With Feeling", then "Tabula Rasa" then the other two on that disc "All the way" and "Life Serial". Then the disc before when they bring Buffy back from the dead. One of my all time favourite scences is when Spike sees Buffy again, i love it, it's perfect. They have a moment over the experience of having to punch and crawl out of your own coffin... Like I said it's distracting.
